Product Design + No Code + AI

It’s exciting time to be an entrepreneurial product designer!

No code and open AI are two concepts that are revolutionising how we think about developing software. No code technology makes it easier for anyone to create custom software without needing to learn programming languages or hire a team of developers. Open AI is a type of artificial intelligence that allows machines to learn and develop through experience, rather than relying solely on programmed instructions. Both of these technologies are helping to make software development more accessible and efficient, allowing businesses to focus on the more important tasks of innovation and execution.

Product design is also being revolutionized by no code and open AI. No code helps to create user-friendly interfaces and experiences that are tailored to each individual user, while open AI allows machines to automate tasks such as customer support and product recommendations. Together, these technologies enable businesses to create products that are more intuitive, efficient, and personal to their users. This has allowed businesses to create products that are more engaging and have better user retention, helping them to stay competitive in a crowded market.

Now is probably a good time to reveal the previous 3 paragraphs were written using AI and 3 key words with default settings.

It will be interesting to see what cool new tech pops up now that barriers are being lowered and learning curves are getting slightly less steep.

Book: Two Beats Ahead

What great musical minds teach us about creativity and innovation

Very relatable content. I never made the connection before but it’s great to read about the parallels in the mindset needed to make great music and that to make creative and innovative products. It’s broken down as such:

1. Listening
2. Experimenting
3. Collaborating
4. Demoing
5. Producing
6. Connecting
7. Remixing
8. Sensing
9. Reinventing

For example, when you listen to music, you don’t usually think about silence, but subconsciously it bring dynamics and drama to a piece when applied properly. Same goes with design - space can bring drama, drama can bring emotion, and emotion can be the difference between people sticking with your product, or leaving it behind.

I just set up my home music studio and I’m trying to finish an album in my spare time. It’s ironic right now because I’m designing digital products for a company that started as a record label. Funny how things come full circle! 🎸
